I’m always trying to find the best tools for the job. And when I find something I think is really useful I like to pass it on.
So I decided to create this page with all the the products and services I use and recommend. I currently use or have used all of the resources on this page and I HIGHLY recommend all of them.
I’ll add to it as I learn more, but you’ll notice that I will reference this page quite often. I recommend bookmarking it for your reference and convenience. Enjoy!
Evernote is one of my favorite applications. Make sure to use the Evernote Web Clipper in your browser. I use it for capturing screen shots, swipe files of emails, landing pages, webinar invites and more. The notes function is great, too. I also created a filing system based on David Allen’s Getting Things Done. Steve Dotto does FREE video training on Evernote. I always think its worth the watching a short intro video to get you started.
Trello – For my project management I rely on Trello. You create boards and cards, which can store a variety of detailed information such as images, links, checklists and more. What I really like is that all these elements are movable. Its also great to connect with my team and add people to specific projects. And it’s FREE!
Zapier – Have you ever wanted to connect your google contacts to your Invoicing, CRM or project management app? Well, Zapier allows you to set up triggers based on certain conditions. For example, I can set up Zapier to automatically add clients to my project management (Trello) if I add them to my client contact group in Google contacts. Zapier works with most major apps. When I’m setting up a Zap, I often check to see who has been added to the list, because it means that app has reached a level of usage and is probably here to stay. First 5 Zaps are FREE!
